Outlet Installation
We add outlets where you need them and upgrade old ones to GFCI or USB models.
Outlet installation is one of the most common calls we get. We run the wire from your panel or an existing circuit, cut the opening in your wall, secure the box, and install the outlet itself. Everything gets tested before we leave. If you need it done right, we do it right.
Texas heat and humidity are hard on electrical work. We use quality boxes and outlets rated for our climate, and we make sure every connection is tight and protected. Whether you're adding outlets in a kitchen, bedroom, garage, or workshop, we size the circuit to handle what you're plugging in. No guessing.
You get a working outlet that matches your walls, full access to test it yourself, and a clear explanation of what we did. We clean up after ourselves. You'll know exactly what you're paying for and why.
What's included: One new outlet installed and tested; Wire run from existing circuit or panel; Outlet box secured to wall studs; Outlet cover plate installed; Full inspection to code compliance.
Outlet Installation — FAQ
How long does outlet installation take?
Most single outlets take 30 minutes to an hour. If we're running wire a long distance or cutting through studs, it takes longer. We'll give you a real estimate when we see the job.
Do I need a permit for a new outlet?
It depends on the scope and your local code. We know what requires a permit here and what doesn't. We'll tell you upfront if one's needed, and we can pull it for you.
Can you install an outlet anywhere on my wall?
We can install it where you want it, but we'll let you know if there are obstacles like studs or pipes behind the wall. Sometimes we recommend moving it a foot or two to make it easier and safer. We'll show you the options.
